This is an interesting question. Third Party FB apps allow friends to show or hide output on their walls, but with Facebook Places, we are all forced to see every entry.

So what if non-burglar types like my old friend Michael here don’t want to follow my never-ending and always exciting analog adventures on Facebook? Do they have to hide or even completely remove a friend or is Facebook going to give us show/hide control for Places as they have with third party apps?
