These are my exact thoughts on Halloween. I don’t understand the excitement at all and moreso, why anyone else does. It is ridiculous.
Oh and I can’t stand “candy corn” and used to throw it at the houses that gave it too me (along with apples).
Anne Gemkow of Chicago won a new Jeep in a Sweetest Day contest in Cleveland by licking a chocolate-covered Jeep grill clean! Seven Jeeps were covered in chocolate, and the first two contestants who licked their grills clean had to shuffle through a Jeep filled with candy to find the key. No word on how they removed the rest of the chocolate from the vehicles. Link -via Unique Daily
I tried Hint the other day and can’t understand why it is not available on every corner around the world. High Fructose Corn Syrup and lab created sugar substitute beverages should be avoided (if not illegal). We are responsible.

From a responsible chemist’s standpoint, the Splenda slogan is ludicrous. This is like the automobile industry saying that ozone, O3, is as healthy as air because it is made from oxygen, O2. Rock candy is made from sugar, and the sugar is still there. But the sugar in Splenda is merely a chemical placeholder needed to added chlorine, the substance that makes trichlorosucrose more than 200 times sweeter than sugar.
That is, sugar doesn’t make Splenda sweet; chlorine does.
