“New York, Chicago, Tokyo, London and Paris all scoop! Join us San Diego. Pls Scoop Your Dogs’ Poop.”
Quite the powerful poster there. Effective use of bandwagon persuasion. Good choice and emphasis of color. Stern, yet polite wording. And best of all, the Tyra cutout instills a touch of fear.

I live in townhomes that face each other with only a sidewalk between them (you walk down the block to get to the street) and I want to put this sign on one neighbor’s front door. They have a number of tiny dogs that bark like mad whenever anyone walks by and they “poop” on the sidewalk.
The owners let them run out and don’t attend to them while they do their business. I love dogs—even these annoying littly yappy runty ones, but some pet owners are morons. I think the sign may not do the trick. Maybe the actual “poop” on their welcome mat would give them a strong hint.
Late night mission. No sharpie, no signage… just a cardboard SCOOPER.
Definitely.

Virgin Airlines first to get Wi-Fi on ALL Flights
WiFi on airlines! I SO hope this becomes a standard for the rest of the airline industry. Look at that pic tho. Such segregation. Macs on the left. Dell on the right.
(via louvature)

I saw this on a flight from Dallas Fort Worth to JFK. The lady was a bit of a bitch and wouldn’t talk to me about it because I was on a different flight.

I should have booked my upcoming San Diego / LA trip on Virgin… the same flight is only a DOLLAR more than US Air. A buck for in flight wifi? Hell yeah! Next time, for sure.

Wow. Where I used to live is just past the lips.
I’m making this drive next month! I land in San Deigo and am visiting friends in Escondido, Dana Point and San Bernardino. I can just print this head and bring it with me!

gasprices:
Thank God.: Gas is finally cheap-ish! Via iPhone.
I called this back in 2002-3, when gas prices first started to go nuts and approach $3 (in San Diego anyway). I remember telling people out there that it would swing wildly for a long time and finally settle somewhere around where it was then ($2.89ish) and the masses would be glad that it was “finally cheap” again.
Of course, this is just the “vote” scam/ploy that happens every year.
$3.50 will be the new “cheap” in 2009.
