I had an awesome experience dealing with Apple today at the brand new Georgetown Apple Store location. My phone wouldn’t work in iPhone mode (only speaker or bluetooth) and it had “Headphones” as an option even though they weren’t plugged in.
They gave me a new phone.
Satisfied? You bet!

I actually did, but that’s how I roll.
so i just finished watching go…can we talk about how awesome sarah polley is and why doesn’t she do more stuff? i mean act, direct, whatever…just do something sarah…well, she was totally robbed of the oscar for away from her…i mean she wrote and directed that and only got a writing nomination…oh and dawn of the dead remake…even more awesome…
Awesome performance indeed. I watched this again on Hulu last night and would watch it again right now. In fact…

Bubble Tea
There is place just a down the street from my office that sells bubble tea. I love it and there are days that I literally crave it. Especially in the summer.
This afternoon was no different. So I added this tweet at the time.
I got a few @replies with some loving them and others not familiar. Then an hour ago, I noticed Greg Pass from Twitter wanting one as well.
So I decided to check Twitter Search to see if others had tweets about Bubble Tea too.
My favorite is avocado bubble tea (shake) here. I need to try the other flavors, but avocado is surprisingly awesome. I’m downright adventurous but I was pretty much aghast at the idea of this flavor when a friend I really respect suggested it as the only one to order… and WOW! It’s just fantastic.
This is pretty much the only thing that makes me wish I lived closer to Seven Corners ;-)
These look like a bad idea. We’re all blessed with a unique set of toes. Mine are kinda normal, but I have seen really long toes, short and fat toes, etc. I see a lot going wrong here.
If they were custom built to fit your little piggies, I might be interested. They kinda remind me of my PJ’s with built in feet from when I was like 4.
in light of all this “news” that shoes are bad for the natural walking biomechanics, i felt it necessary to post these awesome awesome awesome shoes from vibram, the fivefingers. i don’t have my own pair, but when i find $80 to burn, hoo boy you can bet i’ll be rocking these hobbit feet.
