Flickr Fail
This was the first video I’ve ever attempted to upload to Flickr and I actually sent it by mistake. At least now I know, if I want to upload videos on Flickr, it doesn’t work.
Good error message.
Fandango FAIL
For the second day in a row, Fandango has sent me this request to rate/review Star Trek. Normally, I would ignore these, but Start Trek was SO good, I figured I would give praise, etc.
Both yesterday and today, clicking the links in each of these two messages sent by Fandango, I was sent to the same error message:
Redirect Loop
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.
And I’m looking for a job? WTF!

I got a response from tumblr on this. It was a “server glitch” that made all non user pages 404. Even the dashboard, reblog and like links at the top of each page were giving a file not found error. I thought the sky had fallen!
Whatever the cause, it was fixed pretty rapidly. Tumblr is the absolute best there is and it shows.

While I’m on the subject of English mistakes, here’s the motherload of all error lists. Ranges from good no nonsense advice to slight prescriptivism, but an excellent list. Very much worth browsing, you’re guaranteed to learn something. — nostrich
Is it just me or has Disqus been really wonky the last week or so? It logs me out minutes after I post a comment and just now I got this error, where I assume my comment was not posted. Is anyone else seeing this sort of thing with Disqus?
