I’m pretty sure I did this one other time, but I think it was with different words. I was pretty shocked that “sad” came up with ZERO titles out of over 3,100 songs!

Happy: Makes Me Happy - Undersea Poem

Love: The Things We Do for Love - 10 CC

Hate: I HateThe 80’s - The Vaselines

Light: Red Light - The Strokes

Dark: After Dark - Tito & Tarantula

Good: Good Girls Don’t - The Knack

Bad: Bad Businessman - Squirrel Nut Zippers

Smile: Illegal Smile - John Prine

Cry: When Doves Cry - The Be Good Tanyas

Girl: A Certain Girl - The Yardbirds

Boy: Broken Boy Soldier - The Raconteurs

Sad: *NONE* with “sad” in the title… wow!?

Lost: Moses Don’t Get Lost - The Duhks

Accumulating love brings luck, accumulating hatred brings calamity.
As long as you hate, there will be people to hate.

The anti-Radiohead movement grows

I hate Radiohead. There. I said it.

I like the idea they want to try a new distribution method for their music but that doesn’t make me want to listen to it either.

Same here. I admire the download and pay what you want idea. I hope this idea or something like it is adopted industry wide as a realistic way to move into the future of music distribution but Radiohead is too gloomy / melancholy for my taste. I’ve never liked them and, unlike many bands that end up growing on me over time, I don’t think I ever will.

I certainly don’t “hate” them (the people), but I immediately turn off their music whenever possible because I really don’t like the vibe. Sometimes I walk away (but never run) from people who listen to them as well! ;-)

I know I know, get over it.

I always hate it when other people bitch about it, but it really is extremely annoying when you blog something and then weeks later someone else blogs the exact same thing and then it gets re-blogged a zillion times from them, meanwhile your original post is still sitting there all lonely and bored.

Word it up.

It happens a lot with stuff I blog here. What gets me is that its obviously already OLD (in web years) three weeks after I’ve found it and suddenly, seemingly because of the person who has late-blogged the same thing, it’s the talk of the town/tumblr, etc.

It’s almost Twilight Zone-ish.

What am I going to eat for lunch?

I’m working from home today. It’s so much easier when my three choices are Chicfila (which I hate), Potbelly (which I want to lose) and Chipotle (which I love way too much).  I guess I could get a few ideas here or here.

mzchristine: Things I hate (part 2)

  • When people (in my job) ask me everyday what are they going to eat for lunch. Every. Single. Day.
I’m sorry but how the fuck am I supposed to know what You want to eat? You tell me shit. Keep asking and I’ll keep saying snarky responses like eat shit. We’re grown ass people and they’re older than me, figure it out dammit! I’m no one’s fucking nutritionist or personal chef.
It’s a staggeringly, hatefully complex document
