Mad as hell – taxpayers lash out
Jordan from Charlestown, Ind., asked why different rules applied to big banks and ordinary investors.
“Once I invested in something and lost money. Maybe I could just change the rules of investing so that my loss turns into a gain? Oh, I forgot only banks can do that!”
I’m just glad they’re skipping Maryland for the killings and the refugee nonsense. I was born here and I’ve been all over, but I like it here and I want to stay. My Dad lives up there in Maine though… I need to send this to him quick!
Seriously though, the creator(s) of this example used the most sparsely populated states for the killing and the next least dense (intended) areas for the refugees. Everyone here is in the major cities and on the coasts (with a few more in TX).
But it really is a strking visual.

Activist arrested for selling impeachment buttons
The 74-year-old retired mathematician who is fighting Kensington officials over his right to sell buttons urging President Bush’s impeachment was arrested yesterday at a farmers market and charged with trespassing.
Well George, your judgment has often been very wrong. Maybe you need some direction.
I keep pretty quiet on political chatter. Most conclusions are so obvious and there is way too much noise.
This Libby scapegoat plan was so obvious from the beginning. People just don’t see these things as they are set up. Bush has already proven to everyone what a sell-out and quasi moron he is, so this is just a thicker layer of shit on our community sandwich.
The idea that one person runs anything in “our” government is a fairytale that many, for some strange reason, want to accept it as fact. Wake up folks. This guy is not our leader in any way, shape or form.
Jimmy Carter
I think as far as the adverse impact on the nation around the world, this administration has been the worst in history. The overt reversal of America’s basic values as expressed by previous administrations, including those of George H.W. Bush and Ronald Reagan and Richard Nixon and others, has been the most disturbing to me. We now have endorsed the concept of pre-emptive war where we go to war with another nation militarily, even though our own security is not directly threatened, if we want to change the regime there or if we fear that some time in the future our security might be endangered. But that’s been a radical departure from all previous administration policies.
